He will play this season at his $3.4 million AAV but he doubles it to $7 million for the 2026-2027 season.
The $7-million AAV is the same as Winnipeg’s Neal Pionk, a shade ($7.14M AAV) under Brandon Montour in Seattle and in the ballpark with Noah Hanifin’s $7.35M in Vegas. All in the same age area, late 20s to early 30s.
