Trump says 'Puff Daddy' has contacted him about a pardon

President Donald Trump revealed Monday that “Puff Daddy” has contacted him about a pardon.

Sean Combs, who previously performed under the name “Puff Daddy,” was sentenced Friday to more than four years in prison on federal prostitution charges.

Trump made the comment while answering questions about the possibility of pardoning Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted on sex trafficking charges, after the Supreme Court declined to hear her appeal.

While he wouldn’t rule out a pardon for Maxwell, Trump said he’s been contacted by numerous people seeking clemency.

"I have a lot of people that ask me for pardons," President Trump said. "I call him Puff Daddy. He's asked me for a pardon."
