SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - Celebrate Manufacturing Month with the Illinois Manufacturers' Association (IMA) and the Illinois Manufacturing Excellence Center (IMEC).

The IMA and IMEC said in a press release that the "Makers on the Move" statewide bus tour will run from Oct. 3 to 10, visiting manufacturing facilities, community centers and educational institutions across Illinois.

The release stated that the tour will highlight manufacturing careers and provide a glimpse at modern manufacturing practices.

Stops across Central Illinois will include Roesch Inc. in Belleville, Ameren in Collinsville, Eaton in Lincoln, and the Capital Area Career Center and Ace Sign Company in Springfield.

The tour began at The Will Group in Chicago and is scheduled to end at ALM Positioners in Rock Island.
