US President Donald Trump on Monday said Hamas has been making important concessions during ongoing talks in Egypt over his Gaza ceasefire plan.

“I think Hamas has been agreeing to things that are very important," Trump told CNN at the Oval office. He further said “if certain things aren’t met? We’re not going to do it, but I think we’re doing very well. I really think we will get a deal done."

Meanwhile, the United Nations aid teams in Gaza have said that they are “ready to go" to deliver thousands of metric tonnes of supplies if Trump’s ceasefire plan is approved.
