Anyone who has ever played basketball as a kid has undeniably heard a coach say, "Follow your shot!" Well, Jalen Hurts took that concept a bit further.

He followed his own Hail Mary pass.

With the Eagles down to their last snap on Sunday against the Broncos, Hurts dropped back for one final attempt at a game-winning touchdown. But watch as he released the ball. The Eagles quarterback immediately took off sprinting some 36 yards in hopes of being in the area for a potential tipped ball.

Obviously, the effort was in vain as Hurts was still 13 yards away when the ball finally hit the turf. But could you imagine if a crazy bounce ended up in his direction?

You don't see many quarterbacks even try.

If anything, the effort showed just how much Hurts hates losing, and NFL fans loved to see that competitiveness. He wanted to do whatever it took to give his team a chance.
