There was concern over whether Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Jackson Chourio would be in the lineup for Game 2, and that question has now been answered.

During a pregame availability with reporters, Brewers manager Pat Murphy revealed that Chourio would indeed be on the field for Game 2 against the Chicago Cubs at American Family Field.

Chourio was a key cog for the Brewers in Game 1 of the series, going 3-for-3 with a double, a run scored and three RBI’s as Milwaukee routed the Cubs 9-3 to seize the early advantage in the best-of-five series.

Unfortunately for the Brewers, Chourio was forced to leave the game in the bottom of the second inning with what the team called “right hamstring tightness,” and he underwent an MRI after the game.
