Philadelphia Phillies center fielder Harrison Bader was not in the starting lineup for Game 2 of the National League Division Series against the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday because of a groin injury.
Bader was removed from the Phillies' Game 1 loss because of the injury, which is not considered to be serious. Manager Rob Tomson said Bader was available off the bench for Game 2 of the best-of-five series.
According to Thomson, Bader is at 75 to 80 percent of full health after he underwent an MRI on Sunday.
With Bader out, Otto Kemp was set to play left field and bat ninth, while Brandon Marsh moved from left field to center. Nick Castellanos was in right field replacing Max Kepler and batting sixth.
Bader, 31, was acquired in a trade from the Minnesota Twins on July 31. He ba
