Saquon Barkley surprisingly popped up on Monday’s injury report with a knee injury, creating a bit of panic that the Philadelphia Eagles’ star running back would miss time.
But fear not, Eagles fans: Barkley should be good to go.
Barkley had “general soreness” coming out of Sunday’s loss to the Broncos. But he “fully expects” to play Thursday against the Giants, according to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport .
Barkley was listed on the injury report despite the Eagles not practicing on Monday. If the Eagles did practice, the reigning NFL Offensive Player of the Year would not have participated.
Barkley was rarely used in the Eagles’ 21-17 loss to the Broncos. He had six carries for 30 yards and three catches, including a 47-yard wheel route touchdown.
