ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Clifton Park man faces a potential life sentence after being charged by federal authorities. Peter Bardunias, 59, was charged Tuesday with attempting to entice a minor to engage in prohibited sexual activity.

Bardunias is a Senior Vice President of Community Advancement for the Capital Region Chamber of Commerce.

Prosecutors said he sent messages to a person he thought was a 15-year-old girl but was actually an undercover law enforcement officer. Over the past two weeks, Bardunias is accused of sending the messages where he discussed subjecting the would-be minor to violent and sadistic sexual activity.
