Dunham closed out the first set with eight straight points to take a 1-0 lead against St. Michael.
Warriors coach Latashia Wise-Jackson pulled her team around her after losing the first set and told her players to turn the page.
"It's now how you start," Wise-Jackson said. "It's how you finish. Keep looking in front. Don't look behind at what happened. Nothing good happens behind; everything good happens in front."
The message lit a spark under St. Michael, and the Warriors opened the second set with a 10-0 lead. St. Michael (20-1) would go on to win the last three sets in a 3-1 win over Dunham on the road Tuesday night.
"Volleyball's all about momentum," Warriors senior Bella Leblanc said. "Those 10 balls, it felt amazing, and really what gave us the boost to go through the game."
