CHEYENNE — A shooting in Fort Collins involving an F.E. Warren Air Force Base airman has been ruled a murder-suicide as an act of domestic violence, according to the Larimer County Coroner’s Office.

In the early hours of Sept. 30, Fort Collins Police Services (FCPS) responded to reports of a shooting in the 100 block of West Fairway Lane, Fort Collins, Colorado.

Upon their arrival, they found the suspected shooter, 20-year-old Airman 1st Class Marcus Evan Jackson, deceased. His death was ruled a suicide by the coroner.

Police also located the victim, 18-year-old Alyssa Paige Reardon, in need of medical attention.

Reardon was transported to Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland and died from her injury Oct. 1. Her death was ruled a murder, according to an FCPS news release.
