CHARLOTTE, N.C. – An East Charlotte couple is asking the city for help after their home was hit with bullets. They live in Country Club Heights, and they say many of the problems stem from a nearby apartment complex.
Bryson Rogers and Monica Glick have lived in their home on Bentley Place for three years. They are located steps away from the Country Club Apartments.
“You have a homeless individual that’s living on their property right behind our house. There’s human waste, there’s drug activity,” Bryson Rogers said.
Monday night, bullets flew through the fence and into their home. There are still shell casings near the scene.
“The CMPD detective is pretty confident that it wasn’t anything directed to us, which I agree with, it just happens to be an innocent bystander,” Rogers said. “Ho
