GORHAM, Maine — The nephew of the woman who died Monday after injuries she sustained in a Gorham crash said she will be missed while loved ones process the news of her passing.

Gorham police said Joyce Provencher died from her injuries following a crash Monday on Brackett Road.

Joyce's nephew, Cam Provencher, said he found out about his aunt's passing from his other aunt, who Joyce was living with. Joyce was living with autism. Cam said Joyce had just celebrated her 68th birthday Saturday, which was the last time he spoke with her.

"We called a little bit too late. So, we pulled her out of bed, but I'm glad we did," Cam said.
