FORT WORTH, TX -- It was quite an NBA preseason debut for Mainer Cooper Flagg last night!
The Mavs number one overall pick really shined against OKC, starting things out with a huge block on one of the first plays of the game.
Cooper played point forward for the first half and looked awesome, scoring 10 points, adding 6 rebounds to go along with 3 assists in 14 minutes, leading Dallas to a 106-89 win. An amazing start for the 18 year old phenom from Newport.
"I had a lot of fun," said Flagg. "This is a great team, we've got a lot of good guys, a lot of great players. I just thought we played together really well, that's a fun brand of basketball to play when the balls moving around and everyone has each others back. So, it was fun."
Flagg will make his official NBA debut on October
