Shillong, Oct 7: The Health and Family Welfare Department today issued another order for the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) courses, after the Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) objected the inclusion of a non tribal student who got less marks in the NEET, deleting its earlier order of September 30.

The KSU had opposed the earlier order issued on September 30 stating that non-tribal students with lesser NEET scores than tribal students were included in the open category.

Out of these 93 seats, 14 students have been allocated from the unreserved list, 37 from the Khasi-Jaintia list, 37 from the Garo list and 5 from the OST/SC. In addition, 35 students have been placed on the waiting list.
