MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The Madison Police Department arrested several people and found a weapon on Monday afternoon after a shots fired incident on the city’s south side, officials reported on Tuesday.
Madison police said a driver heard gunshots as they were heading north on Rimrock Road toward US Highway 12. The caller told police bullets hit the vehicle. No one was hurt in the vehicle, MPD said.
Authorities later found the vehicle parked along Malibu Drive. Several people were arrested, and police also found a weapon. MPD said more items were also found.
A 19-year-old was arrested on a probation violation, and a child was taken to the Juvenile Reception Center.
