Gold Rate Today, October 8: Continuing its upward momentum, gold rose on Wednesday, amid economic and geopolitical uncertainty, alongside expectations of further interest rate cuts by the US Federal Reserve. In Mumbai, the price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,23,170 per 10 grams, while 22k gold was available at Rs 1,12,900 per 10 grams. These rates do not include GST and making charges.

Silver was available at Rs 1,57,100 per kg.

On the MCX, gold futures expiring on December 05, 2025, were trading higher by 0.72% to trade at Rs 1,21,985 per 10 grams, whereas silver futures expiring on December 05, 2025, rose 0.91% to Rs 1,47,120 per kg.
