Gold Price Today : Gold extended its record-breaking rally on Wednesday, breaching the USD 4000 per ounce mark for the first time amid escalating economic concerns and rising geopolitical uncertainty. The precious metal’s safe-haven appeal has strengthened further on expectations of US Federal Reserve rate cuts in the coming months. Spot gold climbed 0.7 per cent to USD 4011.18 per ounce by 0300 GMT, while US gold futures for December delivery rose 0.7 per cent to USD 4033.40. On India’s Multi Commodity Exchange ( MCX ), gold hit an all-time high of Rs 122101 per 10 grams, up 0.74 per cent or Rs 901, as of 10:07 AM.
