Down two sets to none, Mahar girls volleyball made a valiant to take the third set in a fiercely competitive match with the Thunder on Tuesday.

But Turners Falls fought back in the fourth set and closed the match in four sets, defeating Mahar set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 22-25, and 25-19.
