Police and villagers conducted a rescue operation after the bus accident in Barthi, Bilaspur.

In Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh, a landslide hit a passenger bus on Tuesday evening, killing 16 people so far. Children were also on board at the time of the accident.

Two children were rescued from the debris. Meanwhile, during a search operation conducted by the NDRF team at 6:40 am on Wednesday, the body of a child was recovered.

Bilaspur SP Sandeep Dhaval stated that among the deceased are 9 men, 4 women, and 2 boys. In addition, one boy and one girl are injured.

The post-mortem of all the deceased began at 7 am on Wednesday at Barthi Hospital. After the post-mortem, the bodies will be handed over to their families. .
