United Transformation Movement (UTM) President Dalitso Kabambe has expressed deep concern over reports of serious damage to Kamuzu State House, calling the incident a “gross act of negligence” and demanding accountability from those responsible.
In a strongly worded statement, Kabambe accused the ruling Malawi Congress Party (MCP) and President Lazarus Chakwera of failing to address what he described as a serious security breach at one of the country’s most protected national assets.
“The reports of serious damage to Kamuzu State House are very concerning. We demand an apology from MCP and President Chakwera,” said Kabambe. “Those responsible for this chaos must be held accountable. The staff in charge of security and maintenance, who are still government employees, should be questioned
