New Delhi, Oct 8: Tech giant Google on Wednesday announced a significant upgrade to its AI-powered Search experience in India, expanding AI Mode support to seven additional Indian languages — Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

With this move, millions of users across the country will now be able to ask complex, conversational questions and receive detailed answers in their preferred local language. Until now, AI Mode was available only in English and Hindi.

According to Google, the response to AI Mode since its launch in India has been “incredible,” with people using it for education, writing, product comparisons, and trip planning.
