Here we are again on the cusp of another Maple Leafs season. It’s been 58 years since the team won the Stanley Cup and they haven’t even got back to the final since.

GM Brad Treliving said shortly after the Panthers beat them in May that the Leafs had to change their DNA.

The significant departure is that of Mitch Marner. Less so, goodbye Pontus Holmberg and Max Pacioretty .
