Hyderabad ( Telangana ) [India], October 8 (ANI): Telangana Congress leader Sama Ram Mohan Reddy on Wednesday expressed confidence that the Telangana High Court will deliver a favourable verdict on the state government's decision to increase Backwards Class (BC) reservations in local bodies to 42 per cent.
Speaking to ANI, Reddy said, "We have passed bills (regarding the 42 per cent reservation for BCs) which were forwarded to the governor and are pending today before the President of this country. We requested them to be added to Schedule 9 of the Constitution by amending it."
He further said, "We have issued a GOMs (Government Order on Matters) No. 9, providing a reservation of 42 per cent to the BCs.The final arguments are going to conclude today, and we expect a very positive o
