Schnucks said in a release on Wednesday that Fresh Creative Foods, a division of Reser’s Fine Foods, issued the recall for the grocery chain’s Smoke Mozzarella Penne Salad, sold in stores in Illinois, Missouri and Indiana.

Schnucks customers who’ve bought the store-branded salad with UPC code 21287100000 or bought the pasta salad in bulk from the store’s deli on or after August 29 are urged to throw it out or return it to their nearest store for a refund.

Anyone with questions is asked to contact Schnucks Customer Care at (314) 994-4400 or (800) 264-4400.
