COLUMBUS, Ohio (WOIO) - Wednesday afternoon, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine is set to take new actions to ban “intoxicating hemp” products such as Delta 8 and Delta 9 in Ohio.

In the past DeWine has said these products are harmful to children.

“These products are marketed to kids and are made to look like their favorite candy and treats,” DeWine said. “With no regulation and wide availability, it is all too easy for kids to get them.”

Currently, there is no age minimum to purchase these products, according to the Governor’s office.
