OGDEN, Utah (ABC4) — The family of the 16-year-old juvenile shot and killed near Ben Lomond High School on Tuesday has been identified as Mason Caballero.

On Tuesday, a 16-year-old was shot and killed near 5th and Grammercy Avenue in Ogden, Utah. Ogden City Police Investigators and Homicide Task Force responded to the scene.

According to a GoFundMe posted by the family, they say "Mason Caballero was a hardworking, funny young man with the biggest heart. He cherished his family deeply, especially his little brother Kashton, who looked up to him in every way. Mason loved camping trips with his grandparents, shopping with his mom, and working alongside his dad."
