Oklahoma State tight end Josh Ford announced Wednesday that he’s entering the NCAA transfer portal. The Stillwater native made his decision public on Instagram, writing that after “a lot of prayer and reflection,” he felt led to begin a new chapter elsewhere.
“Football has always been more than a game. It’s my ministry,” Ford wrote. “I believe God is leading me to take that ministry to another place to continue growing, serving, and impacting others through this sport I love.”
A Returning Piece of the Offense
Ford, who represented the Cowboys at Big 12 Media Days this summer, was one of the few returning contributors on the offensive side of the ball. Through four games this season, he caught three passes for 45 yards and a touchdown and a 26-yard score against Baylor.
