ALLEN PARK -- Some heavy-hitters were missing from the first practice of the week for the Detroit Lions on Wednesday.

Wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, safety Kerby Joseph, left tackle Taylor Decker, linebacker Zach Cunningham, cornerback Terrion Arnold and running back Sione Vaki were not spotted at practice.

St. Brown is the surprise among that group. There was no indication that anything had happened during last week’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals. He had another big day, catching eight passes for 100 yards, moving into fourth on the franchise’s all-time leaderboard for receiving yards in the process.

Lions coach Dan Campbell did not mention anything regarding St. Brown’s status during his Wednesday morning press conference.
