LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A $25,000 reward is being offered to help find the driver involved in a hit-and-run near USC that left a pedestrian seriously injured.

The incident happened last Wednesday near Vermont Avenue and 36th Street.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the driver was heading south on Vermont when they hit the pedestrian at a crosswalk.

The department shared surveillance video of the incident on its YouTube channel , which shows the moments just before the driver hit the pedestrian.

The driver also nearly hit a group of people as the driver was fleeing the scene, the footage shows.

A $25,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to the suspect's arrest.
