MINOT, ND (KXNET) — This week, a local North Dakota bakery is helping to tell the story of an immigrant family that came to America after the Vietnam War. Prairie Sky Breads is hosting its Aurora Nights event featuring dinner and memories with Sue Wilson, who relocated to the U.S. nearly five years ago, but has still kept her Vietnamese roots alive to this day.

Some of the dishes being served through this four-course meal include Chinese style meatballs, chicken and cabbage slaw, braised pork belly, and more.

Leaders at Prairie Sky Breads say events like these are meant to highlight diversity throughout the community while also bringing people together as one.
