POLK COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) reported that an incidnet on I-26 is causing severe congestion Wednesday afternoon.

Officials reported that an overturned camper near Sergeant W. Dean Arledge Memorial Highway and mile marker 64 closed both eastbound lanes for three miles leading up to Exit 67.

Officials said that one of the eastbound lanes is now open.

Polk County Emergency Services said that no one was injured.
