BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. (WNDU) - An 89-year-old woman is dead and two other people are being treated for their injuries at the hospital after a two-vehicle crash this morning in Berrien County.
It happened just after 9 a.m. on Red Arrow Highway in Lake Township.
Police say they found the driver of the first vehicle, an 89-year-old Lake Township woman, unresponsive. She was taken to the hospital, where she later died. She has not been identified yet.
According to police, the 59-year-old driver of the second vehicle and a passenger were also taken to the hospital for treatment. Another passenger in that vehicle was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
