Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Shawn Mullins is scheduled to perform at The Franke Center for the Arts in Marshall on Nov. 1, bringing his signature blend of folk, rock and Americana to the venue’s mainstage.
Mullins rose to fame with his 1998 hit “Lullaby,” which topped the Billboard charts and earned a Grammy nomination, according to a community announcement. His career includes other standout tracks like “Beautiful Wreck,” “Shimmer,” and “All in My Head,” as well as co-writing the Zac Brown Band’s No. 1 country hit “Toes.” Mullins also formed the supergroup The Thorns with Matthew Sweet and Pete Droge in 2002.
The concert will feature music from Mullins’ "Soul’s Core Revival" project, which includes newly recorded versions of his breakthrough album with fresh arrangements.
