Former NBCUniversal communications exec Allison Rawlings is heading to Disney Entertainment, where she’s been tapped as the new head of FX ‘s publicity and communications department.

Rawlings replaces longtime FX publicity chief John Solberg, who announced in June that he would retire from the post after nearly 30 years. In her new gig, Rawlings will report to FX chairman John Landgraf . She’ll also have a dotted line report into Naomi Bulochnikov, Disney Entertainment Television & Direct-to-Consumer’s executive VP of communications.
