NEW HAMPSHIRE, USA — Even out of state, Gov. Andy Beshear can’t escape questions about his political future.

Beshear, who has won three statewide elections in a GOP-dominated state that overwhelmingly voted for President Donald Trump last November, has long been speculated as a potential contender for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2028.

He’s been asked for months about a future presidential run and hasn’t yet ruled it out.

On Tuesday, while in New Hampshire, reporters again asked if Beshear would one day return for his own presidential campaign.

“Right now, again, I’m trying to be that reasonable voice in the chaos,” he said.
