Along Placerville's Main Street, a late-night announcement from the owners of the Enchanted Forest restaurant was met with relief and happiness by residents strolling by on early morning walks.
"HAPPY NEWS!!! The Enchanted Forest Has Been Granted More Time we no longer have to close our doors October 12th," read an announcement posted on the Enchanted Forest Dining Experience's social media account.
Nearly three weeks ago, KCRA 3 reported that the building where the uniquely decorated, fairy-inspired restaurant that features fondue and live music is located was sold and the new landlord asked the restaurant's owners to move out, according to Kari Velikonia, the restaurant's manager.
