Allen Park — It feels like ancient history now, but in reality, the Detroit Lions ’ season-opening win against the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium to kick off the 2023 season was barely more than two years ago.

It’s hard to believe that this team has come so far in such a short time, not just regarding their on-field results, but also with completely erasing the perception the Lions have had for more than half a century.
