BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Four officers with the Bakersfield Police Department competed at a motorcycle skills event in San Diego in early October.

The San Diego County Motor Officers’ Association’s Annual Police Motorcycle Training and Competition was held in Mission Bay, Oct. 3 and 4.

Senior Officer Richard Robles, Senior Officer Justin Enns, Officer Aaron Waddle and Officer Matthew Ronk participated in the competition.

The five categories the officers placed first in were Main Event, 4-Man Team Ride, 2-Man Tether Ride, 2-Man Chase and the Slow Race.

BPD officers competed against officers from the Tijuana Police Department, Las Vegas Metro Police Department and the Apache County Arizona Sheriff’s Office on Harley Davidson Electra Glides.
