SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - We’re a pretty long way away from the postseason. But after a tough start to the year, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are playing themselves back into playoff consideration.

Notre Dame has won three straight games, which has the Irish above .500 for the first time this season as they have a 3-2 record. With these wins, they’re now up to No. 16 in the country in the latest Associated Press poll .
