CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The last step in a 30-hour mad dash that started Joe Flacco’s Cincinnati Bengals career was a few extra reps on air with Flacco and the Bengals’ top skill position players. Typically, a Wednesday practice wouldn’t end with a mini-walk through. But this is a unique week for Flacco, head coach Zac Taylor and the Bengals.
“We were getting in and out of the huddle, communicating the play call, letting him visualize the spacing of concepts and make checks at the line of scrimmage,” passing game coordinator Justin Rascati said.
“It allowed Joe to go through his reads and he could talk it through with Zac,” said Chase Brown.
Taylor had Flacco voice some calls as a part of the plan to mitigate what Taylor anticipates being Flacco’s biggest challenge on Sunday at Lambeau Fiel
