PITTSBURGH -- The first four games of the season have not gone the way that Kaleb Johnson envisioned. He has just eight rushes for 21 yards in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ first four outings, and has looked like the clear No. 3 back behind Jaylen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell .

Johnson’s kickoff gaffe that led to a Seattle Seahawks touchdown in Week 2 took away the one true role he still had on the team as a kick returner.

Now, he has been a third running back who gets less than five snaps per game. Tomlin says that they expect Johnson’s talent to shine through and he needs to make the most of the few snaps he gets.
