STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Heritage Farm, located at Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden, continues to nourish the borough with fresh, locally grown produce from its two-acre urban agriculture operation. The farm honors a legacy of cultivation on the Snug Harbor grounds that spans more than 180 years, dating back to its origins as a home for retired sailors.

Farm stand and CSA details

The Heritage Farm Stand is open Saturdays through Oct. 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and also operates on Thursdays from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Visitors can access the stand via the Children’s Museum parking lot, with parking available at the rear and a short walk to the barn area.
