BOISE, Idaho — A beloved holiday tradition in Kuna , which was canceled earlier Wednesday, will continue this year after the community banded together to save it.

The Kuna Chamber of Commerce sent a flyer to the community stating that the Down Home Country Christmas Nightlight Parade will be canceled in 2025 without additional financial support, as unanticipated costs have exceeded $4,000.

However, within four hours of the announcement, the Kuna community raised over $5,000, the amount needed to proceed with the parade.

"A huge thank-you to everyone who donated, shared, and encouraged," the chamber wrote on its Facebook page. "This is what Kuna is all about. We are still currently receiving funds and will update this post with everyone who contributed so nobody is left out."
