A cyclist was taken to the hospital after a crash involving a vehicle Saturday afternoon in Longmont.

At about 4:54 p.m. Saturday, Longmont police were dispatched to Hover Street and Nelson Road near the Boulder County Fairgrounds for a crash involving a vehicle and a bicycle, according to Longmont spokesperson Rogelio Mares.

The cyclist was taken to the hospital and their injuries were unknown as of Wednesday afternoon, Mares said.
