CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio (WJW) - On the field at Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, the focus is on teamwork, determination and heart.

But for assistant football coach and math teacher Paul Muklewicz, those lessons have taken on a whole new meaning.

"It really came out of the blue. I was really not feeling well for about two weeks," Muklewicz said. "Just a little pain in my side, a little nausea. Enough to reach out to a doctor and get some scans. Not feeling well, but really only two weeks of not feeling.”

At just 44 years old, he was diagnosed in July with inoperable and incurable Stage 4 colon cancer that has spread throughout his body.

Despite rounds of chemotherapy, he is still teaching and coaching, staying strong for his wife and five children.
