With an aim to bring in a positive change and develop a culture of reducing, reusing and recycling waste, the Municipal Corporation (MC) will be launching a major solid waste management awareness campaign, ‘My Waste, My Responsibility’ in schools across the city.

The initiative has been taken under the guidance of Mayor Inderjit Kaur and the campaign will start from October 14 onwards. The first major event will be held at BCM Arya Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, following which awareness campaigns would be held in schools across the city.
