After a difficult transition home from military service in Afghanistan, RJ Baldwin from Ada turned to running as a way to regain structure and purpose.
What began with a half-mile jog has become a daily commitment to 13.1 miles, completed in every kind of Oklahoma weather and beyond. As of this morning, Baldwin's streak stands at 1,088 consecutive half marathons across 16 states. He chose the distance to honor his unit designation, 1-3-2, and says the routine keeps him accountable to himself and his two sons.
