It's been a whirlwind 24 hours for Odafe Oweh .

The Chargers newest edge rusher was driving home from a meeting at the Ravens facility Tuesday afternoon when he got a call saying he'd been traded to the Bolts.

Oweh packed a quick bag, hopped on a flight and landed in Los Angeles around 10 p.m. He slept to a nearby hotel and woke up around 6:30 a.m. to begin the onboarding process, which included a 1 p.m. practice at The Bolt.

"Initially I was shocked with how everything happened," Oweh said Wednesday in the Chargers locker room. "I had no prior knowledge to what was going on.

"I didn't think it was going to happen, but after a few hours I was with the Chargers," Oweh added. "The situation I'm coming into, it's a fresh start. I was happy. I'm at peace with it now."
