State officials announced Tuesday that the replacement process for the Goshen Valley Bridge over the Holston River in Church Hill will be conducted in 2026.

In collaboration with Hawkins County leadership and state lawmakers, the Tennessee Department of Transportation has agreed to manage the project and will soon begin the engineering and right-of-way phases.

The agreement was announced by Hawkins County’s two state representatives in the General Assembly, Rep. Gary Hicks (R-Rogersville) and Rep. Timothy Hill (R-Bristol).
